The Hollow erupted into the white light that meant that it was moving on to Soul Society, and Shinichi closed his eyes for just a second - no, maybe a few more, but what did that matter - while he was floating back down to solid ground, Shinjitsu still out and in his hand

"Geez -- what do you have to do to be able to get celphone reception in this place?"

Scrolling through her phone's setting with a frown, Sonoko gave an absent-minded wave to the Shinichi she passed in the lobby before continuing outside in the hopes of picking up a phone signal.

Not realising that the place has rendered him visible, he's going to be staring after her in confused shock for several moments.

Then, realising that she might know something about the place, he starts to follow after her, trying to stay out of sight, just in case that hadn't just been a fluke wave.

...it would certainly be a scary world if suddenly Sonoko could see spirits.

"Augh! Stupid, useless technology!"

Evidently, Sonoko's not having any more luck with her phone. After waving it furiously in the air, she puts one hand on her hips and glares at the phone.

"How am I supposed to send Ran love-love pictures if my phone can't even find a signal?"

Shinichi finds the first half somewhat amusing, knowing Sonoko, and he rolls his eyes at her.

The second part has him, despite himself and for want of a better term, spluttering. And, of course, he assumes that she means messages saying things such as 'RanXShinichi'. It's not his fault he doesn't know better.
