This isn't a Conan, but he is around - or seems to be around - the same age. In a turtleneck light blue sweater and jeans, she likely wouldn't recognise him even if she'd ever caught a good look - but he knows her.

"Eh... so you're here too, 'Neechan?"

It might not come as naturally to him as it did Edogawa, but he's making an attempt at acting...

Ran doesn't need to necessarily recognize a child in order to be friendly towards him. Luckily, spending as much time around Conan-kun as she has, it had begun to come naturally.

Ran put her hands on her knees and crouched down a bit to be closer in eye-level to the child that addressed her. "Hi there!" She offered a warm smile, and looked around. "I just got here myself. Are you exploring too?"

Conan's heading down the corridor towards the library, a plate with a sandwich and a couple of cookies in one hand and a glass of orange juice in the other. He pauses as he hears his name called but as he realises that it's one of the female!Ran's decides that she's not looking for him and keeps walking.]
