Okay, so I'm sorry to those of you USC people on my friends list, but I'm sooooooooo happy Texas won. My oldest friends in the world were there, all the way from Midlothian, TX, and I'm just sooooooooooooooooo happy that they weren't disappointed

Interestingly, I like college basketball more than pro basketball, but I like pro football more than college basketball. I totally hear you about the more heart, which is what I can see better in basketball. But in college football, I sort of get sick of seeing practically every run go for 15 yards, every pass for 20, y'know? It's harder and ultimately more rewarding (as I see it) to root for a pro football team, where it's a game of inches and a few yards. You feel your will pushing that run for every inch of those 4 yards you grind out. The talent is higher. Parity makes no game a giveaway, and gives rise to the phrase "any given Sunday." And it makes the big plays that much more exciting and enjoyable.
