I'm going to slit the throats of anyone and everyone that works for Apple. My third fucking iPod is starting what I now call the death process. Death process = the fucking obnoxious clicking noise and its inability to play fucking music. Therefore if this one dies it will be the third iPod to die on me. Hot pictures, have you seen my new layout. It's oozing Johnny. And yes that's the only thing keeping me sane right now is that the 2nd pirates is out in less then a week.

how often do you listen to your ipod? I got one for christmas so its not that old, but I use it everyday for a few hours, often times upwards of 6-8 hours strapped to my arm as i'm doing hard manual labor so the thing is soaked in sweat and real dirty, not pleasant but it seems to be holding up well

Everyday for 3-5 hours. Your iPod is a newer model. Mine is a 40GB from almost 2 yrs ago. I think they just have problems with my model because they don't make iPods with 40 gigs of memory anymore. And they always start the death process around the same time after 5 months of use. So we'll see. As of right now it's back to its normal self, so I'm just keeping my fingers cross that the clicking noise won't start again.

I see. I wasn't sure if they sent you a new model (nice companies do that with products that cause issues) or if it was a recurring problem with that one. Sorry to hear that, fortunately I haven't had any problems yet. Good luck with that one and IM me sometime, i always mean to talk to you, to be honest i don't know why i haven't.
