So I was thinking... maybe they should change the house colors? I really wish Gryffindor was pink, or even lavender would do. Why isn't any house light blue? I wonder, how did they picked the colors they did ( Read more... )

Ya know Sally, I'm not exactly sure how they came up with the colors but I've heard tell that a dartboard was used at some point.

A dartboard! I tried to throw a dart once at my uncle's house and it went into the couch. I think I should stay away from them...

Hey Greengrass, why don't you lay off Sally? When we want your opinion, we'll get Fang to ask you for it in your native tongue. Stop being such a heinous bitch, and find yourself a boy because someone needs to tell you when to shut up on a constant basis.

Ohh no it's Sloper coming to Perks rescue! No one will tell me to shut up not even you! I do not need a boyfriend. What do you know I could already have one without you knowing it? Because you are not at Hogwarts anymore. So why don't you shut it!

I'm pretty sure if you actually got a boyfriend, keep in mind this doesn't count some snob who's courting you for a trophy wife, we'd all know about it. I think eclipses, volcanoes erupting, or even planets aligning occur in those circumstances.

I'll help you if you need it Sally. Always ready to help a friend in need, you know that.

As for the house colours, if you look at them all, you've got the precious metals, primary colours...though, I couldn't tell exactly why. Perhaps we should ask Professor Sprout? It's quite an interesting thought.

Thanks Ernie! That'd be wonderful. When would you be free?

Brilliant, I never thought of that. I just thought maybe it was the favorite colors of all those people that they named the houses after. Like Helga?

Ahem, I believe, last I checked, that one of Ravenclaw's colours is blue. I'm sure you'd prefer it to have clouds and little fishies in it, but we're quite happy with it the way it is, thanks.

I know it's blue, I just thought a light blue... like the colour of the sky on a spring day.. would be beautiful.

I'm glad you're happy with your blue the way it is. It's nice to be happy. More people should be like you!

I am not sure Sally. I have never thought about the colors of the houses. But why pink? It is too girlish and let's face it I do not think the guys would like pink all that much.

Maybe it is a good question for Dumbledore he will know.

Pink is my favorite! The boys would like it if they only gave it a chance, I bet.

I doubt they'd give pink a bloody chance. It's a girl color not boys and the houses cannot have just girl colors for houses. If the house was made up of all girls I could see why pink wouldn't be a problem but that isn't the case.
