For New Year's, I made two resolutions. One was to get vaccinated, which happened sooner than I expected. The second was to finish my novel, which is...ongoing. I wrote most of two new chapters last week

I can relate. I say something perfectly nice to me and it upsets someone. It is not only what you say but the emotional state of the receptors. A bad mood can make the most innocent statement seem bad.
