Well, if you don't like boastful posts, then don't read this.  Because in this post, I am going to be tooting my own horn quite a bit (get your mind out of the gutters, ladies!).  It has been a while since I have felt this good about myself, and I would like to share it with all of you!

First, it is Mother's Day tomorrow.  I had absolutely no clue as to what I should give to all the moms in my life.  I knew that it would have to be something cheap, because, well, finances suck at the moment.  But my mom gave me a great idea, which I will be able to give to everyone.  I am able to knock out many, many moms with one stone.  She asked if I would make her some Stickie Vickies for breakfast (thank you so much Teddy for that recipe, it is a HUGE hit!).

So when I got off work yesterday, I went to the store to buy the ingredients that I was missing.  Came home and started working on the recipe.  I most definitely put my mom's stand mixer through its paces.  I was only going to make one batch that night, and another the next day.  But I decided that since I already had everything out, and I was already messy, I might as well make the first batch, then another right after.  Yes, that's right, I doubled this bad boy of a recipe.

And, yes.  I took pictures.

I used the biggest bowl I had to put the dough in, because I knew it would only get bigger while it sat.

I don't think the pictures do it justice.  This bowl is about the size of a standard toilet bowl, possibly bigger.  And the dough was overflowing it bowl.

Not the greatest picture, but you can see just how big this thing was compared to the mixing spoon and the rolling pin.

Yep, 3 and a quarter inches high all rolled up.

Almost 2 and a half feet long.  And in case you were wondering, that is my glass of milk that I was drinking this morning.  Root beer flavored milk.  Tastes just like a root beer float.  Delicious!

Try not to look at the rest of my messy table in this picture.  This is the result of doubling the recipe.  I had to use all my pans but the bread pan to fit all these guys.

Right now these guys are resting and rising a bit more before I put them in the oven.  I don't think they will all fit at once, so some will just have to wait.  Perhaps once they are finished I will update this post to include the final result!

And now on to my other topic to boast about...

I had my 60 day review at work yesterday.  Has it been 2 months already?!  Well, to say the least, it went really well.  Here are just a few of the things that were said:
- It was one of their best decisions to hire me.
- If they could clone me to make all the other new hires just like me, they would.
- They have never, ever had anyone pick up the work as quickly as I have.
- I have a 2% error rate which is the lowest they have ever seen, and wouldn't be surprised if it were less than 1% by the time of my 120 day review.
- I have some of the best customer service they have ever seen.
- My working speed is at the same level as most people that have been there for 10 years.
- I am like a sponge, and they don't have to tell me to do things twice.
- I learn very quickly and can adapt to new situations easily.

Those were just a few.  My favorites were the cloning comment, and the 2% error rate.  I asked if they could frame the error rate and hang it up on the wall by my desk so everyone knows how awesome I am.  They thought that was really funny, I was being serious.

So, with the monstrous task of doubling the recipe and the great results of my 60 day review, I am feeling really good about myself!

And Teddy, thank you so much for such a great recipe!  My family loves my cooking, but by far, this is their favorite!
