Rules: We all love to hate them, but every community has them. These NEED to be read and followed, or you will face removal from the comm. There’s only ten, so you have no excuse!
1.Let’s keep this community wank free, please. IC drama is okay, OOC drama is not. Takeit to PMs.
2.This community will include adult concepts. However, any explicit adult activity needs to be taken to private journals due to the age of the characters and LJ’s adult content policy.
3.Mary-sues and Gary-stus are no fun for anyone and they don’t really have a place here. Make your characters realistic and you’ll have more fun, we promise.
4.Drugs, Alcohol, Violence…it happens in real life, so it can happen here, but please keep it in moderation. And remember, if you’re a student, you’re going to want to keep it under wraps from the faculty and matron.
5.This is not an X-men Rp. Sorry. Your pups should be relatively normal human beings, though “normal” is left up to some interpretation. If your character has a power, we’ll let it slide as long as that is not the sole purpose of your character. Faith from Buffy? Acceptable. Cyclops? Not. If you’re in doubt, feel free to pm a mod and ask
6.Posts should be under 10 words in length including strike outs. There’s no minimum, but remember, one word posts are hard to reply to.
7.Your mods are here to help you. Any questions or suggestions and we’ll happily take them into account, feel free to PM the mod account. However, on that same note, Mod’s word goes. We’re reasonable people, but we’re also in charge of making sure everyone has a good time.
8.Cussing should also be in moderation. We don’t want to see a whole post of curse words, but it’s certainly not banned. Try to keep it to three words or less of your posts as curses.
9.Make sure to join both communities, anchorageport and runawayhaven (our OOC comm) and introduce yourself. Also make sure you read the “school” rules, which are simply rules your character should follow in the comm.
9.5 Please include the word “nautical” in the subject line of your application to verify you read these.
