so i just went to the death clock website and my death date is October 1st 2018.
apparently i have ten years to live.
for the sake of argument, let's say i only have ten years to live. what should i do in that time?
what should anybody do in that time?
how about one year?
a year to live.
hmmmm...

I don't have a reply to your question of what to do with your remaining year(s), but I did read your post in domesticity. I wrote a reply, and in so doing, learned that you have to be a member to comment -- and that I apparently am not! Huh! Anyway, I hunted you down so I could paste my comment here... stalker that I am. lol

You write beautifully. Your mother is blessed to have a child so thoughtful. I want to be like you! I have a few friends who give very heartfelt and time-invested gifts, and I stop and think, "I wish I were so thoughtful!" Recently a quote hit me: It is never to late to be what you might have been!" So, I am beginning to be what I wish to be.
