all you have to do is be really good at supporting revenue generation and really bad at dealing with life enough to allow yourself to flower.

if i were you i would just be fortunate that you're the sort of person who doesn't break down so far as to need that much time to collect your head.
and i could come visit, but you'd just be like "hrm, how am i doing? well, that's not really my department, but i bet if you asked brad he could help you..."

you're always witty when you come to visit, even though you normally want something. if i didn't enjoy your witty banter i wouldn't be nearly as cooperative with the stuff you ask about. :)
i think that if you can't be witty, you ought not speak. "banter" has a somewhat dismissive connotation that i find irksome. conversation should be as enjoyable as it is functionally, and generally more so. i'm not certain whether this is a perspective adopted by most hardcore engineers
