NBC and the Cheese Balls obsession

I don't know if it's my fever addled brain but I've noticed a certain recurring theme on three NBC shows.

Haha great observation! Likely some kind of inside joke.
But they could also just come from the same prop house. I was listening to a commentary for some movie (possibly Juno) and they said how this large jar of matches appears in multiple movies filmed in Vancouver, since many props often come from the same place.

Probably but it gets increasingly a part of the plot....

That's exactly what I was thinking. Since they're all on the same network, they probably just use the same prop company, and that prop company probably has a contract with a certain vendor and those are the brand of cheese balls they carry.
