[Guy appears on the second level, holding a notepad and a pen. He looks a little wary, but at the same time, he's smiling.]

We've been noticing that a lot of people here are from different worlds--well, I guess that much is pretty obvious-- but what we don't know is which worlds these are. The names of places, the history behind them, what kind of ( Read more... )

[have a Nunnally, she likes talking with people]

I'd be happy to tell you about my world. And Lelouch, Suzaku, Clovis, and Millay's... it's mostly similar to mine.

Anything you can tell me would be great. [--wait.]

Wasn't Lelouch that guy that went missing?

[nods] Yes. He was returned a week later. It's a little odd though. A week passed for us but over a year passed for him.

Huh... And that kind of thing happens often?

I'm not really from the Template in my world, but it's a desert city. ... It's not even a city... I guess you would really call it more of a pretty large town.

A large town... [Looking around.] Well, if that's the case, I guess it means there's not much of a limit to how different they get.

I didn't spend a lot of time there... just enough to get information about sandflier parts.

But... anything else you wanted to know about my world?

There was one thing I was wondering. You mentioned only being there for a short time, but did anything out of the ordinary happen while you were there?

What about my world?

Huh?

It's suspicious to ask about it!

Right, uh, sorry about that- you don't really have to answer.

Um, well, there's two worlds where I'm from, but I only know a lot about Sylvarant. We're...sort of on a decline, because our world runs on mana and the supply is getting low. I think. Um, and there's two big continents, and there's a lot of ruins and small towns, and it's...home. Oh, but there's Desians, too, and they...they make it hard to live there sometimes.

Mana, huh? It sounds a bit like fonons.

What do you mean about Desians, Colette?

fledglingwings November 8 2008, 16:11:10 UTC
Desians look a lot like us, but, um, I think they're a kind of half-elf. I'm not sure. But what I do know is that they destroyed my hometown, and they kidnapp people and do horrible experiments to them! They...they turn them into ex-spheres, and it's....

It's alright. [Guy looks calm, but he shakes his head.] If you don't wanna talk about it, don't feel like you have to.

If you look at something close enough, anything and everything can have similarities, can't it?

Reply

justtheservant November 8 2008, 03:21:34 UTC
That's exactly what I was trying to find out. Like how we can all understand each other, for one thing.

letsdo_timewarp November 8 2008, 03:28:13 UTC
But in the end won't they still be the same opposites you began with?

Wouldn't it be inconvenient if no one understood each other?

justtheservant November 8 2008, 03:33:54 UTC
It depends on what they tell me.

Yeah, it would- and I wonder if that's why we can understand each other in the first place. Stranger things have happened here than our languages changing.
