Dad is doing a bit better after having several more incidences. Including some medication he was given giving him heart attack symptoms then being allergic to the morphine they gave him to relieve the symptoms that the previous medication gave him!! Whewww!He's still in cardiac Intensive care unit. We were lucky to actually figure it out, that it

It is good to know you have figure out what has been causing the problems. I hope this will speed his recovery along.

I thought of you today when cooking for a friend who just discovered... totally unexpectedly, that her mother is so full of previously-undiscovered cancer that she is expected to die within a few weeks. It occurred to me that a little knitting kit might be something nice to give the friend to give her something to do while (especially if I made clear that if she has no interest in the gift to just stick it in the waiting room with a note "For whomever would like this")
I didn't find a kit where I was looking, but think I will look somewhere else.
