A really perturbing thing happened last Wednesday. The Greens on Campus agreed to creating, nominating and electing a 'Grievance Officer' for the club. I didn't actualy read the greivance officer business as meaning that someone has a grievance that they won't tell to whoever it is, but I missed the beggining of the meeting so I don't really know what spurned it all, and who and such.
What annoyed me about it was the amount of time wasted on what is, as you seem to think, a fairly unecessary position. For a group as small as the macquarie greens I just can't see there being any call for it and it annoys me how much pointless nothing goes on with said club. I guess it will soon be seen if your suggestion of an alterior motive is true.

That's very relieving to hear. Very relieving. I guess I was very overwhelmed with the idea because it just seemed to randomly emerge from the ether, a couple of weeks after Tim had mentioned a vague complaint to me about the Greens and their socio-cultural ambience. A complaint I know I'm partially and unintentionally a culprit of, that is.

I was also a little annoyed, like Bob, that the position took so long to establish when Tim had a presentation planned as well as us having Enviro Week events to organize. Oh well. *shrugs*
