All in one post:

Semi-hiatus for vacation until the 17th of June. I apologise in advance for flakiness or a complete absence as the internet situation is up in the air right now. But tagging in a different time zone should be interesting.

To procrastinate horribly before leaving in a few hours, Cindy hit 10k comments a few days ago and Tiffany ( Read more... )

For Taiga, Cindy has seen her stubborn side and how uncompromising she is about having people accept her as she is.

Brianna . . . it's a bit worrying that her feelings on getting even or getting revenge are so strong. Cindy is beginning to see that Brianna, like Julian, has anger management issues stemming from a lot of places. And she is kind of oblivious to things like sense. She hopes Brianna doesn't die back at home and update as dead because that would be depressing as heck.

Brianna's impressions of her temporary room mate now that they are more familiar with each other?

Tiffany is a big know-it-all! And pretty nosy! However, as long as she can handle Brianna's random bursts of furious anger, they'll be fine. She likes Tiffany, although she thinks it's kind of hilarious and frustrating at the same time that she doesn't know much about the ~modern world.~ She does think Tiffany is way too serious, though. Like when she tried to trick her into thinking that flipping people off was a sign of things being okay... Tiffany didn't even think it was funny! And she just kind of lectured Brianna instead, and that was lame.

Also, if Brianna were to find out about Tiffany being able to read her thoughts, even if they are just surface thoughts, she'd flip a table. Just sayin'.

So how is Cindy liking being forced to live as a magical pony right after being forced to live as a wolf?

Tiffany could have pointed out that a lot of people would be able to read Brianna just by looking at her. But she's being polite and everything.

Cindy is relatively chill with it. She's had experiences with animal transformations in her line of work and the kind of witches she hangs out with. And the pony shape is a more cheerful shape than the wolf, so she's more upbeat about it--she'd be for more fancy hats and less raw rabbits any day. And she gets to be a stylish pony! The only worrying thing is the butt tatt--someone's going to figure out the clues that Camp is throwing out one day . . .

Is Brianna ever going to turn into an animal or bird in Camp?

First impression for Hawke? :D

Adventurer mage-type lady! Cindy found Hawke to be a fairly cool and laid back sort of woman. The kind that she could drink ale together with and there'd be ribald stories passed around the table. She didn't have a problem with being naked on her first day or with the whole Mess Hall staring at the elf's meat and two veg, so she's probably a very chill person. Who has adventures while being chased by magic-hating Templars. Cindy likes adventurers and can sympathise with people who have been through wars and are refugees.

While Cindy has reservations about magic users, Hawke is unlike the witches and wizards that she knows, so Cindy is pretty okay with her.

What's Hawke's canon about?

Dragon Age 2's about how Cassandra, a Chantry Seeker wants to find out the root of a certain problem in Thedas and needs to find Hawke to solve it since Hawke is rumored to be the cause of everything. So she kidnaps Hawke's dwarven friend Varric and tries to interrogate him about Hawke's life, so the game's basically Varric retelling the story of Hawke's rise to power, how Hawke fought the Qunari invasion, became the Champion and got involved in some Mage vs Templar conflict. It's different from the usual Bioware games since Hawke, while apparently important to Thedas' history, isn't really some extraordinary figure like the Warden of the first Dragon Age game, and most of the story revolves around Hawke's life, Hawke's friends and the hijinks they wittingly or unwittingly get themselves into rather than some epic quest to save the world. It's apparently something that a lot of fans were :[ about but personally I liked it|D;

Can you tell me about Cindy's canon?

A bunch of refugees from a hundred different worlds are living in secret in New York. And a few other places on earth. Only they are fairytale characters who inspire writers to write their stories when they cross over to earth. Somehow or other, they wind up immortal and the more popular they are, the stronger they seem. Or at least that's the popular theory. The creator never really explained it ( ... )

HUM Tiffany's first impressions of Wendy and/or Anemone?

Reply

justwannahave June 5 2011, 06:22:35 UTC
Tiffany thought Anemone had unusual hair colour--like Eureka--and that she was the louder, brasher version of Eureka. And she was fascinated by their flying machines because they were alive but not of this world.

Wendy's a chronicler of the weird and Tiffany believes in writing things down--even things as ridiculous as the stuff in Camp. She also seemed like a nice enough adult who didn't mind the questions about the laptop and explaining the speakers to her.

What's Wendy's canon about?

A guy named the Middleman! He and Wendy (with the help of Ida, a cantankerous robot) handle supernatural problems that may pose a threat to the human race. The monsters of the week are things like vampire puppets and zombies obsessed with trout instead of brains-- the show doesn't take itself all that seriously! That's about half the show, while the other half is just how Wendy deals with having a double life as a crime fighter that she can't tell her friends about. It's short and fabulous and I love ittttt ♥

Do you have any favorite characters from Fables other than Cindy?

Flycatcher--the only really nice and innocent character.

Prince Charming--Cindy's scumbag of an ex showed a great deal of character development. While still being a lying, cheating, conniving douchebag.

Vampire puppets, wow--sounds like Joss Whedon all over again.

What's Eureka 7 about? I've seen the anime here and there online, but never got around to watching it . . .

I owe you tags. :(

And I am generally terrible at coming up with questions for these things, but: AU!Cindy's thoughts on AU!Raidou/Raidoushura?

justwannahave June 5 2011, 07:02:23 UTC
:) Back-taggers forever!

Cinderella thought AU!Raidoushura/Nameless kid was so sad. He didn't have a name and seemed to have been the subject of some dreadful curse or something that turned him into a demon. But he seemed nice despite the sadness, so it was only a superficial change after all. And what a dreadful place he came from! If it lasted any longer, she might have dragged him into wherever she was bunking with Mickey Mouse and company. Cinderella is a very trusting young woman.

What Camp effect would Reid get in the future? Hypothetically speaking?

Raidoushura would have been so horribly confused...

Hypothetically speaking, I might consider changing Reid into Daphne from Scooby Doo, or possibly a kitten. Maybe.

How would Cindy react to any of the other CM characters?

She'd be "it's Reid's co-workers, they look more functional than him".

Morgan: Phwoar--hello officer.

Hotch: Aren't you that guy from that comedy?

JJ: . . . We look alike, don't we?

Gracia: Like the hair!

Prentiss: . . . Do I know you from somewhere? [definitely a CIA operative]

Reid's opinion of Camp so far?

Rain was a very nice person as far as Tiffany can tell. She is not prickly like some witches or grandiose like a wizard, so it was a pleasant change. On the other hand, Tiffany was trying to be nice in turn because she has to struggle with the fact that elves would mate with humans to produce half-elves that would actually want to rule the world through magic. And that elves are considered nice in other worlds. Raine also has a mission and a message, which is admirable as far as Tiffany is concerned. It's a tough job, but some people have to do it. She would be interested in finding out more about Raine's world and the kind of magic they use there.

Reverse?

This one. She would like to see any version of a world that is round instead of flat, but there are some similarities between the Disc and Earth that she would like to look into. There're places with chalk carvings in the hills that sound like the ones back at home.

But she'd still go home afterwards because there's work to do.

Who does Raine miss while she is in Camp?
