Last week went on forever, and the expansion of time was unpleasant. I never want what happened today to ever happen again, and even though I'm frustrated with praying, I'm praying that it won't.

Brooks' flight was delayed for a day, and he had to spend Thursday night in Denver. I rode in the rain on Friday afternoon to finally pick him up at the airport, and I didn't recognize him at first with his new short hair. Wednesday evening I went into Kerrville, and I was worried the entire drive home because the check engine light in my car was still on and it had difficulty starting. I made it home, and while driving discovered that Ana was also in town and had returned from her Marfa adventure. I'm in Winnemucca, Brooks is cooking dinner, and I am so happy.

Today was so incredibly long. I had to wake up at 4 a.m. after staying up fairly late for study break/tri delt serenade to go the airport. Ben was amazing, woke up early, and drove me.
