My dad once asked me how I had decided which direction my life would take. I told him I hadn't, that I just sort of let it happen. He responded that I may have thought that, but, unconsciously, I had directed my life in a certain way. So I guess even those of us who feel that we're just taking life as it comes may not be doing so as much as we think we are. I don't know, just a thought. Anyway, I'm all for not keeping up with the Joneses.

Thanks for your comment.

Take care, Julian
