I've been feeling somewhat like a child lately. You see, for some strange reason I keep running into people that I haven't seen in years, and they all seem to be at a different stage in their lives than I... they have mortgages, marriages, long-term commitments. I feel you on the whole growing up thing...can you imagine how I feel?! I am 22 years old, and people my age (and even younger!) are married...with children...and fully employed...I sometimes wonder if it's just a cultural thing...or am I just lagging? But having that wealth of choices you speak of makes it worth it...I am okay with me right now...I don't need a baby or a mortgage.

have you seen the film Capote yet? I was quite moved. Must read the book soon.

You're only 22! You have plenty of time to do all these things! And I guess so do I, I just have been pondering all those inevitable existential questions lately.

I have seen 'Capote.' It's great. Loved it. Probably the best movie I saw last year, although I did like 'Walk the Line' slightly more. What was your favourite?

I like you today - had mental meltdown.

I woke up feeling very meh, and then out of the blue started crying, not just a few tears, but CRYING.

I think I am going through a 'where is my life going' phase...

Sounds like you have great plans for the future! Ones I am very jealous of. I know you will do so well, and enjoy the experience so much!!

I understand those moments. I hope you're ok now though?

You could make plans like mine too... and having someone to travel with will make the experience even better! Surely Ryan wants to travel too?
