11. Favorite sport?

Not really. When in Warrant Officer School, I begun to really like cross-country running and orienteering. Until my knees started acting up, and had to be operated. Later, I did a bit of bicycle trekking - but not as a sport or excercise, just as a way of getting to see places and experience things. Including mosquito-infested nights under the ( Read more... )

That monomaniacal toiling certainly does look like something I'd expect a drug addict to be doing to get his fix.

I don't think anyone's waistline ever shrank while watching spectator sports. However, a good bit of double digging in the garden, there you go.

All too often we Westerners are concentrating on the do of things. To just be is an attribute of permanence, of divinity, even.
