Well, yes, as it happens. I am.
Still, I don't feel any closer to understanding life, universe, or anything.

Congratulations on the new milestone! I don't think any of us will ever really understand the universe. But for a human you've got a really good mind. :)

For a human, perhaps. But 35 years ago I was convinced that I'll turn out superhuman!

Hmm I carried the personal exceptionalism meme in my head far longer, until my early 20's. Boy was that a crock! I'm still getting over it.

Well, yes... My phrasing rather implies that the period was 35 years ago instead of lasting much longer into adulthood. We'll pay no attention to that, shall we.

That, I feel, is one of the major differences between European and Chinese thinkings. The European approach has been more to attack the mystery of the universe from the outside, as a riddle to be solved. From what little I have gathered about Chinese philosophisms, there the thinking has been more holistic, recognizing that we are part of the universe and we can become the solvent by seeking the unity.

Nah. I've got too much of a head start.
Unless you hire a time lord or a relativistic policeman.

Huh. You're younger than a couple of my ex's.

I should have known I'm too young for your tastes. :(

A couple of my exs were only just legal when we started dating.

Should I wonder about the inconsistency or admire the wide range of your tastes?

That's when I noticed that I'm getting old. The salespersons at various places started calling me "sir".
