[OOC] State of the Union
IN CHARACTER: Oz is pretty okay with his life right now! On one hand, he finds himself a little too content with camp and questioning that desire. On the other hand, camp makes Oz happy. It's a place where he's been accepted and cared for and he's extremely loath of the idea of leaving it. Still, he always misses Alice and thinks about her a lot and wishes there was a way to reconcile both of these desires.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Oz is no longer a spammy character for me, but he is still one of my easiest to play and the one I feel the most comfortable with. I should play him more but as it stands, I'm more than satisfied with what I do with him. Now, I just have to wait for canon to wrap up this arc so I can update to mood-ring eyes.

IN CHARACTER: Dean's super glad that Sam has his soul back which means Dean's more or less back to being himself. Still, he has some nagging suspicions about the whole Sam/Jennifer thing and he's finding it harder and harder to understand or allow it to continue.The whole thing is frustrating and beyond him to understand.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Hahaha, so my Dean-play has pretty much dropped to ...nothing. I have no desire to play him whatsoever and I don't know what to do about it! The last time I played Dean was last month and playing was akin to pulling teeth and I felt extremely unsatisfied with everything I did. So I don't know what to do. I'll wait till this season wraps up before I make an executive decision on it, buuuuuuut he is certainly high up on being dropped.

IN CHARACTER: Leto has lots of feelings for people in camp, and that is a worrying factor because a) he knows having feelings will ruin his mission and b) he isn't in full control of his body and mind. Still, Leto is enjoying his time in camp, no matter how brief he sees it.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Leto isn't someone I can play for long periods of time. Not because he's exhausting to play, but more I find it tricky to be in that mindset for a long period of time. Still, whenever I get him out, I enjoy whatever I do with him. Dune is the closest thing to my forever canon, plus I might be getting a movie sometime soon which means I can pimp for ~Muad'dib~ and the rest of Leto's crazy family sometime soonish. I hope.

IN CHARACTER: Jim always feels out of place in camp because he's a doer and there's ...not much he can actually accomplish in camp and it's supremely frustrating to him. So he works it out by doing dumb things like sexypolls and asking silly questions because it annoys people and he gets a kick out of it, plus it makes him get out more. Still, it's not a lasting solution and he knows that, but he's good for a while since he managed to get a vacation day and see the Enterprise again.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I love playing Jim Kirk, end of story :x. Sometimes, I worry about my interpretation of him and canon events, but the thing is, the movie in itself gives you so many directions as to where you want to take his character that I'm not ...that bothered about it. I derive way too much fun from doing silly things with him and he's still my baby.

IN CHARACTER: Other than that one flower incident, Yuri is good! He is a "go with the flow" dude and his important people are here, so Yuri isn't particularly worried or stressed out over anything, other than the occasional thought for how Rita and Karol are doing.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I won't lie, I was having trouble with Yuri lately and I was like "Maybe I should drop so that the cast could get a better Yuri and I could stop sucking!!!". But then I posted last week and god, it brought back all my feelings for him and how much I loved playing him, so yeah. A drop is so not happening anymore. It also helps that my cast spoils me rotten ;o;. Best ever.

IN CHARACTER: Gara is hereeeeeeeee which makes so much of a difference to Haruki's life because he's able to relax his guard a bit, because he has someone he implicitly and explicitly trusts over ...everyone, save for Kazuki. It also gives him the support he needs when he's working out his plans and he feels more motivated than ever to change the ending of di(e)ce somehow.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Haruki is a fascinating character to me and continues to be. He's such an empathic dude, but at the same time, so crazy about the things he cares about. I enjoy playing all sides to him and I really enjoy all of the things I can do with him. So yeah, Haruki's safe for a very long time.

IN CHARACTER: Hayate and Himeno confessed their feelings for each other which was ... something I never thought they would actually get to. So right now, they're at the blissful awkward stage where there are feelings!! and no idea what to do with them. Hayate is also worried about the long-term consequences since hahaha Pretears loving Knights has not worked out well in the past.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I deeply enjoy Hayate and his CR and he has outlasted my expectations, but I think I'm running out of things to do with him and it might be his time to go soon. Still, I'm having fun with him so that might be a long time away,

IN CHARACTER: Stefan has to deal with Tyler's wolf PMS, something he's a little worried he might not be capable enough to handle on his own. Still, the chances of asking Damon for help on this are... zilch, so Stefan's going behind his back to help Tyler. He's also concerned about Katherine who he hasn't seen since his de-age and a little wary of things she might be plotting.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I love Stefan Salvatore, the end. I just. He's such a ridiculous vampire jesus who makes so many bad decisions and overreacts a lot. It's just fun and it surprises me how much CR he has built up, but I love all my threads with him and love playing him at a drop of a hat. He's my primary and when I'm stuck on who to play, my fallback dude.

IN CHARACTER: Moriarty still inspires many feelings in Sherlock and he's looking for a way to end their game any chance he gets. Still, he can't help the feeling of regret he'll get when that happens. Other than that, Sherlock is somewhat content in camp, having enough people to poke at and explore at his own leisure, though he misses the thrill of a good old mystery.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I am probably the least serious Sherlock player ever. I just... sort of play him whenever I feel like it for shit and giggles. But whenever I play him, I just love the things I can pull off with him. He is an unrepentant dick with some fun relationships, plus I have a fab John and Moriarty. Now, the only thing I need to complete this awesome is getting a Mycroft.

IN CHARACTER: Amy wants to go back to exploring worldddddds again and have a proper honeymoon, but she'd never leave the Doctor like that, so she tries to make do with what she has in camp. Also, Rory's recent death terrified her beyond belief, so she's still trying to reconcile her feelings about that.
OUT OF CHARACTER: Amy Pond is very... spontaneous and that's how I end up playing her. Which means I should play her more but after a while, I just get tired :D;;. Still, I adore Amy to pieces and I have a fabulous husband and doctor. I just wish I could play her more consistently.

IN CHARACTER: Cara's life is a constant >). She's cool with being in camp, mostly because Kahlan is here and that still gives her purpose. Still, she misses Richard and Zedd (though she'll never admit it) and misses doing dumb quests because she at least got to kill people :/
OUT OF CHARACTER: Nngh, I need to play Cara more and I don't understand why I don't. She's such a fun character; sexy, tough, hilarious and so much more. She is my favourite tsundere and she should have relationships everywhere. So I'm a little disappointed with myself and my play of her right now, but I'm gonna try and fix that sometime soon.

IN CHARACTER: Lance is relaxing a little in camp, having opened up to Judai and slowly getting used to the fact that he has a friend in his life. At the same time, Lance is sort of waiting for the next bad thing to hit him because that's how his life rolls. Still, Ilana is here which gives Lance purpose again, so he alternates from making sure she's safe and ... being absolutely mean to her.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I was so excited to play Lance that I didn't realize that Lance would overlap a lot with Hayate a lot, which resulted in me playing him less than I should. Still, his canon is fantastic and it validated a lot of my previous threads and thinking, so there's no way I'm giving up on Lance Lunis.

IN CHARACTER: Tyson's never really been on his own before, so being in a camp is a new and frightening experience for him. He wants to make new friends, but at the same time, he really wants his team to be in camp so he can feel secure and wanted again. He misses everyone and wants to know if they're missing him too, and the thought of them not caring what happens to him is too much for him to bear. Still, he likes the people around camp and slowly building himself up again.
OUT OF CHARACTER: I... just want to play Tyson all the time. Which, I think, might be frustrating to everyone else. I just keep talking about his canon and Tyson a lot and I just ... am still on that sort of new-character-high with him. But I also worry that I might be a little overbearing with him, which curbs my urge to play him all the time. So, uh, if I overdo it, PEOPLE SHOULD TELL ME. I really want to build strong CR for him all over the place.
