Oh, I love this so much, thank you!

It's perfect FMA fic because it's all about these people in dramatic situations and their complicated multi-directional feelings. A friend has commented that there's something about FMA that just makes you want hurt/comfort and/or domesticity fic, because they just spend so much time running from one dangerous situation to the next, that giving them a few minutes to cuddle or have coffee together or talk about their letters from home feels so precious. And I love the way you've woven the Hughes family into this, it just underlines how interconnected they all are. I love all the physical detail in each of these scenes, and the bittersweet note it ends on, and how Becky takes it all in.

I'm glad you like it! It's been so long since I wrote FMA, I was a little worried I'd miss the mark, but I'm going to assume by your review that things turned out all right. I hope it pleased. I had a lot of fun writing it.

I recall from your letter to the author that she is (or was, at least) your favorit FMA character, she's definitely mine! I haven't been thinking about her much at all of late, but this fic might go a long way towards producing more Riza-centric stories!
