"Cat's Cradle" by Kurt Vonnegut. It will make you a Bokononist in no time.

Thanks to one Emily Rezek for the use of said book.

Well, start with this one, b/c the only other ones I have read recently are a John Adams biography, and comic books. I don't think you would have much interest in Mr. Adams (great man by the way), and I don't know if comic books qualify for book club material (great medium though).

I would like to read some more of Chuck Palahniuk's works. I loved the Fight Club novel even more than the book. So if there is one of his you haven't read and would like to, we could both read and then discuss said book.

i saw Cat's Cradle at Barnes & Noble last night but i couldn't justify spending twenty-one dollars for it. hopefully i can find it cheaper somewhere because I really liked Slaughterhouse Five and his collection of short stories.

i've read most of Chuck's written works aside from Invisible Monsters and Stranger Than Fiction. I'd be all about either of those.

It is too short of a read for $21, but it is still great. Maybe la biblioteca would have a copy available.

I shall look into these two books. Are "Choke" and "Survivor" worth reading?
