I left the two mormon communities I had on my friends list. In the mormon community there is this catholic guy on there that just makes me not want to talk about my own spiritual trials and whatever. I feel like anything I might say would just be used for homework for him. It's hard enough talking about such private things, you know? Who needs tha

I stopped reading those communities long ago.
Our trials in life are sufficient without self-righteousness and persecution. I know I fall short and don't need other people to rub it in further or try to pull me back into the mire. *sigh*

from time to time I take the mormon community off my friends list, that way I'm still a member but just don't have to worry about them on my friends page.

Sometimes yeah... members can be a pain in the arse with prejudice, pride and ignorance - but I'm sure it's the same for every community. it just hurts a little more when it's from members.
