Okay. So, I've been a faithful member of danrad_daily for quite some time now. I seriously loved this community, and would check for updates every single day [sometimes more than once!] and I doted on it, promoted it, etc.
Everyone in the community was nice, everyone commented a lot, and some of us were close because we commented so often, like a family; well, you know what I mean.
I always held a lot of respect for the maintainers of the community. I had never before seen any wank in the community before, or anything, and was grateful for it. cornishpixie and poufywerewolf were good mods.
Some of you in the community have no idea what's going on, since starromance14 and our mod cornishpixie have now deleted pretty much any comments showing dissent. I don't think this is entirely fair to members who really just want to know what's going on.
And so I think someone needs to tell them.
About a week ago, starromance14 made a post in which she bragged about stealing a photo from a magazine. When members raised concern at this, she continued to boast about how she has done this on multiple occasions. I myself was a little confused about this users brash disregard for the law, but I simply left my comment and moved on.
A few days ago, starromance14 posted again, and this time, in the tagline, she said something about how she was willing to contract AIDS and herpes if she could sleep with Daniel Radcliffe. This comment offended MANY of the members [and rightfully so] and, instead of handling the matter in a mature fashion, starromance14 decided to put up a fight. She used a lot of offensive curse words [remember, there could be young ones reading these entries] and went onto the personal journals of members that argued with her and posted rude comments about them. For some reason, cornishpixie has sided with the girl, and the two of them have been deleting comments of members showing their opinions against cornishpixie and starromance14. I feel like it's 1984, seriously. Most of the members who are angry are angry at the fact that our mod chose to disregard the other side to the argument and stated that it was starromance14's feelings that were hurt.
All I'm saying is, I think some principles in the community need to be reworked. The mods did a great job in the past, but I think they're handling this situation immaturely and incorrectly. There's practically a witchhunt going on against certain members [like junesrose and gaia] , the way the community's turning out now.
