bébé

I guess all of the hoping and threatening finally worked.

Jules Villeneuve was born last night at approximately 8pm and he was 6 lbs. 8 oz.

I would say you can read about it more here but I just told you all they did. I promise a real update about this very, very soon, you know, after we've all slept for weeks.

Salut et merci d'avance.

Congratulations, JV. I'm glad to hear you're doing well. If I'm in Montreal, I'd love to come see the bebe.

Thank you.

Johanna and I would both like that, Erin. Perhaps we'll see you soon?

I think I could be persuaded to come and visit. I was in Montreal just a couple of weeks ago, but it was a whirlwind trip. Maybe next time I'll be able to stay for awhile?

Thank you. She's both exhausted and ecstatic. We both are.

Congratulations! The worst part about new babies is waiting for them (notice I said waiting for them, and not anything else). Enjoy him. He won't be tiny forever.

I don't mind him growing up a little so we can get some more sleep but thank you. I'm cherishing all these moments as much as I can.

You'll enjoy him, believe me. Somehow you find a way to make time for that in between all the little things you seem to be doing to keep him happy. As for the lack of sleep, you get used to it after a couple of weeks.
