Earlier this month I ran the Tinkerbell Half Marathon. Actually I did the Pixie Dust Challenge, which was the 10K on Saturday and the half marathon on Sunday. I was going to write a regular race report, as I usually do with big races, but I'm prompted to write this instead ( Read more... )

It's the perferct race for cosplayers! I saw people running in bug and Buzz Lightyear outfits!

I ran the Tinkerbell Half 2015, too!!! What you said was spot on. I had run quite a few half marathons at that point, too, so when I dressed up in tutu and wings (I never wear costumes), I had so much fun. This was one of my best race experiences. My plan is to do the Pixie Challenge next year. :D

Did you wear a costume?

I have not worn a costume yet, but I was thinking about doing it next year with a pirate costume. I was thinking about making a treasure map, (Which would be a map of the course,) and ask people along the way if they could help me find my booty! :)
