At a certain point I stopped posting regularly here on LiveJournal; I think it's the immediacy of Facebook that drew me and kept me. But sometimes one has longer thoughts to process and barf out into the cosmos

1) The Statue of Liberty is in a harbor, not a river. Subtle distinction, I know, but don't let Fox News catch you making that mistake or they'll ignore everything you said to berate you for failing as a patriot. = P
2) You can still post this kind of thing to Facebook as a Note instead of a regular post.
3) I agreed with just about everything that you said.
The weird part is I have almost no clue where it came from. I mean, it puts my thoughts into words, but I was *wiped* last night. I just opened up livejournal because it had been a while, and barfed it out with almost no editing at all. I'd almost say it was like automatic writing, but it's definitely all me.
Well said Jim. It's like the older generation is still trying to hold on to whatever selfish or outdated powers (the status quo), and the treasures they claim theirs that they have left, but it's this mentality that I feel that is destroying the country even more than these foreign terrors from overseas. This country needs to wake up and stop this crap because it should never be about the few, or even the one, but about the whole.
