I know I'm in no position to really comment on this, being in the UK and all. But this is ridiculous, and so bloody stupid. I honestly think it's obscene that things like this happen in a country that claims to be a world leader.
And I have to be a bitch here, but the 'go hang out with Iceland' wtaf, I know you're pissed but still, if you're making a post about discriminating against homosexuality then don't hate on a nation that's made a huge fucking difference to the way gay people are treated, Iceland was the one of the first european countries in the to legalise homosexuality (1940, compared to the UK's 1962 and America's 2003), equalise the age of consent, and have an openly gay Prime Minister.
Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I didn't accidentally mean to say bad things about Iceland. That wasn't my intention whatsoever, all I meant was that I wanted Maine to go out to the ocean and Iceland is the closest country I can think of in that direction. I know zero about it, I didn't even mean it like they would be buddies or anything at all. Actually, now that you've given me all these facts, it would probably be a good idea if Maine did, because it seems like Iceland might be able to knock some sense into that state. Clearly Maine isn't getting the vibes from the rest of the areas surrounding it currently. Once again, I'm really sorry, I should have made it clearer what I meant by that, but exhaustion and anger and four beers left me struggling for proper words
