Ugh. I'm so sorry the deal didn't work out. Congratulations on the new job; I realize it's not what you wanted, but I hope it turns out really, really well for you.
Thank you for the good wishes and advice. It is hard to be sad especially because I think this is going to be a very good job. Still, it would have been nice to own a business. Oh well, things happen in like over which we have no control.
BTW, please don't mention this at Rachel's baby shower. We decided not to tell Susan until after the shower. She can get somewhat "exciteable" about significant and speedy changes, and we wanted to make sure she has the opportunity to enjoy the shower as much as possible.
