The Volvo was a '67 - I assume that's a typo - and the Toyota, if I remember correctly was a '78 (but purchased in '77, I believe; I have a memory of the Volvo sitting unused ion the driveway for a winter that included the Blizzard of '78.). The "something from my parents" was a 1973(?) Ford Maverick, which had originally been owned by my mother's parents, and was then my parents' second car, and thus very lightly used (as it was when I took it over; I think I put something like 3.000 miles on it in the 2+ years that I owned it). It was a piece of junk, really, but it served on those rare occasions when we needed two cars, but by 1086 I decided I wanted a real car.

Nothing like a typo in a post that points out another typo.
