Does that mean that you're wasting time on me when you could be preparing for school? You know that people can't help their feelings. Jay, as well as my parents, did all they could, but there's no way for us to pay for him to go to Le Cordon Bleu. He's not more focused on this girl than school; he's trying for what he could have instead of sulking about what isn't possible.

Le Cordon Bleu isn't a college. It's more like a trade school. That means that it isn't accredited, and the majority of the financial aid that most college students get isn't offered there. $20,000 a year at a regular college would be much easier to handle than at an "institute", or trade school.
