I just went to the grocery. I'm thinking I'll be opening a brand new can of Whuup Ass in the near future. My 3yr old daughter just said recently - during the national anthem somewhere - "Mommy, that man isn't taking his hat off Mommy!" (I loved her for it for so many reasons...one being that she said it just a child - LOUD and UNEDITED - so loud, in fact that he heard and took off his hat.) Great post! Keep on Keepin' On! :) Thinking of you and your Significant Other alot this weekend- and appreciating you both more than you will ever be told or know.

Your daugther is too cute. Good for her to say it loud enough for him to hear. He was disrespecting our country. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts we really appreciate it. Have a Happy 4th and enjoy!!

You are very welcome - you are in our prayers, thoughts and on our minds. When we got a new American flag this week too, my daughter (3) said with her eyes wide open "What's that Mommy?!" I realized that I'd told her what it was before but this was the first time I could tell she really recognized it...and I responded with "THAT honey, is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL and IMPORTANT flag in the whole world! It's the flag of your country- The USA!!" I went to tell her that she was a very lucky and blessed young girl to be born in this great country. She really listened hard and took it all in....and looked up at it and stated..."Oooooo Mommy! It's so pretty!" I welled up. I was glad to hear from you - I was going to write you again and share this. Have a great 4th - I am so grateful and appreciative for your all the intense sacrifices your SO and you are making for our nation & our freedoms, as well as our safety. He is a hero true - but don't ever forget - YOU are too!

I am very happy to hear that you are teaching your daughter about the flag early. A lot of people have no respect for it and don't understand the scarifices that are made for it. Are you on AIM or Yahoo messenger? I am on yahoo more though. Have a happy 4th and thanks for seeing me as a hero puts a smile on my face :)
