Wow, I'm sorry to hear you're going through this. I hope everything turns out ok. As your last ultrasound showed normal that's definitely a good sign.
Maybe it might be worth posting this on pregnant for more opinions as I had not experienced bleeding during my pregnancy.
As far as the heartbeat, I think I was around 13wks the 1st time I heard it?

My coworker, on her third pregnancy, started bleeding after 4 or 5 months. She ended up having to leave work early and had to stay at the hospital for almost 3 months. I hope everything will be okay with your pregnancy! hugs

thanks jen. i hear bleeding early in the pregnancy is much safer than if i was in my 2nd or 3rd trimester. wow, i couldn't imagine being in a hospital for 3 months. i've been in my bed for 1 week and i'm going nuts!

thanks lily - i was told i was 8wks originally but the ultrasound showed i'm at 6wks now. apparently at 6-7wks you can see/hear a heart beat via transvaginal u/s so i'm anxiously waiting for Friday to roll around. i'll keep you posted.
