Yeah, no offline mode blows. Every time your internet connection trips or you accidentally disconnect somehow, the whole program goes nutz and whines about error. Then you have to log back in again.

I'm fortunate that my internet doesn't hiccup often but I honestly would consider lugging my laptop to work for my hour long lunches where I'm bored out of my mind to play. But there's no wifi there, which means zero functionality.
I mean, even SC2 allows offline play. You have to log in once every so often to enable it, but it's there.
