Thoughts on Diablo

So, Diablo 3 is pretty awesome.  My wife tried one of my guest passes and 2 days later we had to go out and get her her own copy, she enjoyed it so much.  She's got a monk and a wizard right around level 20, being a combined 40-ish levels, I'd say she's enjoying it.  Which surprises me in a good way.  We played StarCraft 2 a bit together when it

lol yeah, those barbarians are beefy as hell. I only have one level 9 barbarian dude, to go with my level 16 DH (I'm slow as hell! But at least I've crossed into to Act 2).

Yeah, no offline mode blows. Every time your internet connection trips or you accidentally disconnect somehow, the whole program goes nutz and whines about error. Then you have to log back in again.

Dude. I just leap in to a big mob of enemies and I'm like RAWR GWAAAAAH, it's so cool. There's more strategy in the DH with trying to dole out punishment and avoiding it yourself but the barbarians, man, they're just like "GRWABABABAKALDLAH KILL YOU" It's great. lol

I'm fortunate that my internet doesn't hiccup often but I honestly would consider lugging my laptop to work for my hour long lunches where I'm bored out of my mind to play. But there's no wifi there, which means zero functionality.

I mean, even SC2 allows offline play. You have to log in once every so often to enable it, but it's there.
