My wife has taken up knitting as a serious hobby in the last year or so and she got the idea to knit things, whether randomly chosen items or custom orders for people, to make a little extra money.  So she made a shop on Etsy a few months ago and she's yet to make a sale.  She shares her store page regularly on Facebook...
