I'm John Sisko (Annapolis, 1988) and I'm a professor of philosophy at the College of New Jersey. I'm interested in trying to start a 'Tuesday-Night Fite' at my college. The article in The College, together with this site, have really caught my interest. What isn't clear to me are the mechanics of voting. Do you simply have an open-ended discussion until each person is committed to one side or the other? Do you limit the time for each 'fite'? Who introduces the topics? If you could give me some details on the mechanics of the 'fite', it would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I would prefer having you email this information to me at sisko@tcnj.edu
Best,
John Sisko
