Just an update I guess, for those who do not know... my father passed away this past Weds, peacefully in his sleep. He wasn't sick, he'd had a great Christmas with family, he just must have been ready ( Read more... )

Thank you my good friend. It was sudden, so a surprise sad. As we thought about it, he probably would have wanted to go in just this fashion.
I am starting to not feel sick and actually had some zucchini (steamed) tonight! So, on the mend.

Thank you and Jeffie so much for your kind thoughts! It is sad, tho as you mentioned not traumatic as it could be!

I tried some steamed zucchini tonight and my tummy seems on the mend! So thinking I am getting better... just a forced start on less eating (LOL?).
