Atlantis fandom collides with RL

 You know you are Very into Atlantis when you go to the store, start to pick up a drink and put it down because it says it has citrus in it.

Sigh.  I did pick up the drink, Green Tea, but it was a weird moment.

Oh, yeah. *g* These days I can't eat an orange or tangerine or grapefruit, or put lemon or lime juice into fajitas without thinking *Rodney!*.

Not to mention the citrus "flavored" shampoo/cream rinse. (I giggled at the story--whose title I forget--where Carter had started using citrus-scented shampoo after first encountering Dr. McKay. Hee!)

That is just mean of Sam. I know he was an ass, but that's mean.

Yes, I think about Rodney when I see citrus. But this drink took me by surprise for an instant.

Yeah, but just remember what an utter *pig* he was when first we saw him. He's mellowed since. Given what Sam knew of him up until that big crossover SG1/SGA episode, I wouldn't blame her for the lemon cream rinse!

I adore Rodney--but there are areas of social interaction which he took a while to get a clue about.
