Gant's interest in Near is less about physical attraction and more about what Near can do for him and the fact that Near's so interested in him; Near's still too young and child-like in appearance for Gant to really find him hot. Utena's haaaaaaaaaard. :< Anthy loves Utena so much, and for Anthy, loving someone and having sex with them are completely unrelated things. She still thinks of sex primarily in terms of what she can do for her partner, as opposed to what her partner can do for her, what they can give to her. It's a new thing to even consider just wanting someone sexually, because for so long Anthy really had no ownership of her sexuality at all; she's been an object, not an actor.

Not to mention that for Anthy, Utena's just in a class of her own. There's normal people, who Anthy's more comfortable bieng attracted to and (theoretically) having sex with, because even if she has sex with them, she's not intimate with them... and then there's Utena.

So as far as normal people go, Fran is a 9, I think, while Ivy's more of a 7. Anthy can tell when someone wants to bad touch her. XD
