Oh God more book crap

The editors just announced today that Machine of Death is going into a second printing almost immediately and will be in actual brick and mortar bookstores within three weeks.  I have always, always dreamed of walking into a bookstore and plucking something off a shelf with my name on it.  maybe this is a bigger deal than I'm making of it (I think ( Read more... )

Ooooh, if it's going to Real Live Bookstores, I can go to Porter Square and pick it up. (I downloaded the PDF, but it feels like a book I want to curl up with, and while I love my laptop, it's not the same. And I'm not really an audiobook kind of person, regardless of how sexy you and the previous podcast author are. Hi Erin!)

I wouldn't mind that, though if you're not going to be up here next Saturday (and what the heck is up with that!?), then it becomes a question of whether the few bucks is worth not having to wait what could be just far too long.

I'm telling you, Fudge is superb. It's the sort of story I'm not sure I could write but I wish I had. I'm not surprised at all they put it right at the front of the book.

I thought you did a fine job on the audio book. I could tell you weren't used to doing live readings, but that's about it; you're selling yourself short.
