Wednesday, I started off the visit right with some good QT w/my beautiful Yu sisters and then some fun KTV with just the 3 of us trying to find SUPER old chinese songs! puhaha...good times~
Thursday, the Yu sisters and Janet and I headed to Sammy's to see THE SPAZMATICS - you would NOT believe how much fun this 80s band is!! hehehe....They lived up to ALL my expectations! We danced the night away to some fun 80s music - they are SO goofy and a very good cover band!
Funny story of the night: *playing the Clash in the background "Should I Stay or Should I Go?"*
guy: Hi, what's your name?
me: Jennifer
guy: I'm _____. Should I stay or should I go?
me: HAHA. Very clever. That is entirely up to you. I'm going to stay right here.
guy: Well, I'm going to be honest with you, I am 22 and I'm still in school at __________. (I swear this is a high school in Houston, NOT a university, but that's beside the point)
me: Ok.
guy: What about you?
me: 25 and graduating from law school at Penn.
guy: Oh, ok graduating from P--. Wait, what? Penn?
me: nod
guy: Oh. *pause* *awkward silence* Um..well...........*blinks* *staring at me blindly* Ok then. It was nice to meet you. *walks away*

Friday, ate a yummmmmmy meal at TAN TAN with the Yu family (the highlight of my meals in Houston!) and then headed to Hue to get our party on~

The funny stories of this night involved a whole buncha shots, something about a tall dude named Alvin (strike one) and something about being too smart (strike two) and...then a whole buncha other ghetto people. hahaha~

I can't stop telling people how much fun this wedding was. It was just the right balance of cutesy mush and FUN-LOVING good times. Of course of all people, this is going to be a light-hearted and fun-loving wedding - it's Suemy and Chae! Busting out laughing in the middle of the ceremony, loud shrieks from the bride, goofy grins from the groom - It was definitely one of the more FUN weddings I've been to! I

Ended the visit on Sunday with church, dim sum with cyu, ben, Cat, eddie and pei @ Golden Palace. Shopped around with Cat and ate some YUM-O Korean food @ Seoul Garden with Cyu, Cat, Eddie, Lindsey, Mama Yu and ANNA UNNI!

and missed her!! AND we even went to Dinka Dinka to sing karaoke with Cat and Eddie after dinner.

On a totally random note, I became obsessed with this Regina Spektor song (Fidelity) while I was in Houston and when I finally watched this last episode of Grey's, they played that song at the beginning!!!!! Fine, I was excited. Shush.
Ok, no more plans to go to Houston for awhile now.
Unless someone else decides to suddenly get married. I'll definitely have to go back in the fall to be a bridesmaid, so nobody plan anymore Houston weddings before then, m'kay? Thanks!
