Spring Break Part II - Mexico
So, after a minor medical emergency on the plane on the way to Mexico, Alex and I arrived at Cancun's airport Monday afternoon. We were met by extremely windy but warm and somewhat cloudy weather, with the assurance that it would get better. The driver provided Coronas on the way to Playa del Carmen and we were off!

Monday: Day One

Tuesday: Driving ATVs and Speedboats!

Night out on the town - Part 2!
Our resort was all-inclusive so we had free food and drinks the whole time. Alex and Enrique were our bartenders most of the weekend and Alex loved to make this drink called the Slammer - aka Viagra. Right. Anyway, they were supposed to be shots and he'd slam it down, it gets all fizzy and then you drink it. It had tequila in it so I chose not to partake. Eugene, on the other hand, decided to be adventurous and drink it in a huge cup. At least 3 shots worth. There's Charlene trying to run from it and me going "eek...ur gonna drink that!" Next pic: Eugene drinking and me watching, hoping he doesn't die. Gross!

Wednesday: COZUMEL
on the ferry headed over to Cozumel where ppl got quite seasick...

Thursday: Mayan Ruins of Tulum
Back to Playa~

look at how Shrek is turned toward me since I'm giving him a smoochy.
our room actually only got this swan, but the above two were in Margaret and Char's room. I was bitter that I only got ONE the whole week.
Friday: Back to the US!
what a breathtaking view of the fluffy clouds from the plane, huh? it's almost as if you can walk right on them...
headed back to NY! Ate a yummy dinner at Menchanko-Tei and hopped on the train back to Philly. Nice to be back....and TIRED!!
And now.....off to the Poconos for our ski trip this weekend. I will likely NOT be snowboarding this time, but still going for some good R&R with friends.
P.S. Congratulations to Miss Christina Yu, obgynyu, for matching at Southwestern's Ob-gyn program! Never had a doubt in my mind!! So proud of you~~! [Tho I'm not gonna lie - I would rather have you in NY for selfish reasons, but ok fine. Dallas is better for you.
