My baby kitty is sick....

My kitty is very very sick, I had to leave him at the vet tonight and right now they plan on keeping him at least 3 days. He was jaundiced in his ears and eyes and the vet could tell that his stomach was empty. She thinks his liver might be shutting down but it could also just be anemia so they are going to be doing lots of Bloodwork and Xrays

We had a similar situation with Kelly's cat (Kitty) some years ago. I never questioned how much it would cost for what turned out to be IV equipment (we had to instill IV fluids under Kitty's skin every day in order to help his kidneys along).

I earned points with Kelly on that.

And Kitty was a cool cat.

He finally succumbed to old age, but it was worth it to give it our all to keep the Kitty well and Kelly happy.
