Eli and I spent the majority of the weekend working on the house. All the carpet is out, the tack strips have been removed (those things are EVIL) and staples have been pain-stakingly pulled out.

I agree that the green and blue are both very attractive - I'd look for a less-bold version of the blue, too.

Tell Eli I'm sorry about his grandmother - Becca and I are obviously going through a pretty similar situation, and I know it's not easy.

I'll be sure to let him know. I dropped him off at the airport this morning. It's all a bit weird because he hasn't spoken to that side of his family for 5 years, so it's not only depressing, but awkward as well.

I wish I could have gone with him for support. :(

Erf, and I forgot to add, I'm really sorry about your grandmother. I loved reading the life stories that you and Becca posted. She led an amazing life, and has left behind some great memories and progeny.

She also left behind a MILLION BOOKS. We have been packing them up for two days now!

(Thank you. She was pretty great, and we'll miss her, but she lived a long and happy life and died peacefully in her sleep, so we don't think she would have asked for much more than that.)
