    So I was having this problem with the latest firefox (13.0.1) where it was setting a manual proxy on itself every time it restarted. It turns out one of the addons had gone sour and was causing this ridiculous issue. So I guess that wasn't really a virus, more like a fuckup. Hurray for fixing a fuckup.
