My mom, the hypocrite she is, told Damien that she was "ready to let me get my license," when she tells everyone else that I just don't want to get it, and then flips out at me for "driving in the middle of the road, not stopping close enough to see (if I did either of these things I'm pretty sure I'd be dead by now but okay), and not being aware of my surroundings." Oh, then there's this thing called Korie needs a car to take said road test, preferably all before softball officially starts and I no longer have a ride a home (unless Christine gets another car by the week after next). Everyone was like, oh you can use my car because it has a middle e-break! Uh no not the point. The point is I need a car anyways, and I'm suuure the RMV will have a problem with a car outside of my family and I don't wanna get all the way there for nothing. But, I'm not telling anyone when I take the test, incase I fail, and because passing it will be a shocker to everyone I'm sure.
Mr. Holmgren and my mom talked today, and he wants to meet me sometime next week to talk to me about college (aka my mom probably told him to tell me "it's not where you start, it's where you end." Blah, blah, blah, says the rich lawyer and rich stepfather who didn't even go to college and pitiful mother who can't even keep a bank job.
I'm probably going to get less than five thousand dollars from my parents for college. So even if I took out at $15,000 loan, multiply that by three, and you have one broke Korie by age 22. It's decided: it all comes down to how big of a difference the FAFSAs from the rest of my colleges are. If they're all like three thousand dollars, which I bet they will be, then Hartford it is because that's just three grand. Otherwise, ECSU or Umass Amherst (permitting I get in, which I might not know until the year 3000 at this rate) are my next choices.
