CHARACTER
NAME: Risotto Nero
FANDOM: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
CANON SYNOPSIS: At age 14, Risotto's cousin was killed by a drunk driver. Despite the fact the driver was punished by law, Risotto couldn't forgive him. Four years later at age 18, he assassinated the driver. From then on, he lived in the 'underbelly' of society. At age 21, he became a Stand user and joined the gang. In all of the assassinations he's been a part of, he has never once failed to kill the target.
His gang of assassins are not trusted and rarely called upon; they were never given control of any important territory by the boss. That last fact angered Risotto greatly. After two members of his gang tried to reveal the identity of the boss, they were killed and got Risotto's gang labeled as renegades. Risotto was killed in a fight with Doppio, knowing he was the boss. He wanted to avenge the deaths of the rest of his assassins, but failed to do so.
ONORATA-VERSE BACKGROUND: After killing his cousin's killer at age 18, he slipped into the world of crime and never looked back. At age 21, he along with Proscuitto found an ancient artifact that would hopefully give them the edge over other assassins. This was known as the Arrow, and after being pierced by it, his latent psychic abilities were unlocked in the form of something called a Stand. His is called
Metallica (canon link, his powers are different here)and gives him powers of magnetism and the ability to manipulate iron. He tends to keep out of the family drama involved in the mafia and instead has his own small group of assassins. The group is close and tight-knit and watches out for their own. Since they are unaffiliated, most consider them untrustworthy, but they are highly sought after for their skills...A Stand killing leaves no trace of the user.
ALIGNMENT: Neutral
RANK: Assassin
And Stands further explained: "There are six known Arrows, forged from a meteorite that crashed in Greenland, although even before then, its properties were known and utilized. The stone that the meteorite consisted of will catalyze and awaken the Stand of any living creature it cuts. However, if the one cut does not have sufficient spiritual strength, he/she/it will die from the resultant spiritual strain. On the other hand, the Arrows normally only seek out (and cut) those who can handle the strain to begin with. One could argue that the arrowstone meteorite sought out Earth with its many strong spirits, rather than striking the planet by chance."
