Is that knitted? It is very pretty and impressively complicated looking.

The jacquard(?) pattern is fantastic! I can't imagine being able to do something that elaborate--I've done three colors, but it was a very simple design and boy it took me forever (and it was a long time ago). Is this where you knit both sleeves at the same time? The steeking is an underarm seam then?

This knitted fair isle sweater uses 2 yarns, both with very long color changing runs. One is grayish and the other changes from yellows to reds. It is a cardigan, so the body was one tube, with a steek up the front for a button band ( ... )

I can't believe it's only two yarns, that's brilliant! Carrying yarn is such a pain--though I guess if you do it enough you get good at it :) It's really nice how they were able to match the pattern colors from the sleeves up through the yoke--though as you say it makes sense if the two sleeves approximate the stitches in the body tube. The yarn must have a pretty consistent color runs too then. I don't usually like variegated yarns, but if it comes out like this...
