I want to lie down on the quad and stare at a tree all day. My energy scatters everywhere as I throw myself into new people, new places, new ideas and I lack any sense of unity, I'm spinning, whirling, in my head, in my interactions and nighttime activities, in my bed in the early mornings

i understand. my wish to graduate college in one more year has, alas, been destroyed by my "pragmatic" advisor. who says i can't take 36 credits a semester?!

but other times, i'm glad i'm here. college is generally pretty easy, and supposedly the only time in your life when you can be completely self-centered. yeah right.
